Embed a duck race on your website
A real, playable duck race inside your own page — for class sites, LMS courses, blogs, events and streams. Free, responsive, and ready in one copy and paste.
Put a real, playable duck race on your own website: a class page, a school LMS, a blog, an event site or a streaming overlay. Visitors type their names and race right there — every feature of the game, free, with no account and no plugin. All it takes is one line of HTML.
Live demo
“The setup” lets each visitor type their own names; “The start line” opens with your runners lined up. The demo only loads when you press it, so this page stays fast. Your visitors’ embeds can load the same way (“Load when scrolled into view”).
Embed code builder
Where to paste it
The code is a standard <iframe>, so it works anywhere that accepts HTML:
WordPress
Add a Custom HTML block and paste the code. In the classic editor, switch to the Text tab first.
Google Sites
Insert › Embed › Embed code, paste, and resize the box to taste.
Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard
Open the page or assignment editor, switch to HTML view and paste. Students race without leaving your course.
Wix, Squarespace, Webflow
Use the Embed / Code element (Wix: Embed HTML; Squarespace: Code block) and paste.
Notion
Type /embed and paste the link (Copy the link only) instead of the code.
OBS & streaming
Add a Browser source with the link, 1920 × 1080 — perfect for giveaways on stream.
Embedding questions
Is embedding free?
Yes. Embedding is free for schools, teachers, streamers, businesses and personal sites. Please keep the game as it is — no rehosting or framing it inside ads (see our terms).
Does the embedded race work on phones?
Yes. Choose a responsive size and the race fits the width of the page; 9:16 suits a phone-first page.
Can I set the names in advance?
Yes. Choose “Opens on: The start line” and type your runners: the race opens with them lined up, ready to start. Choose “The setup” to let each visitor type their own names.
Will the embed slow my page down?
Not if you keep “Load when scrolled into view” on: the browser only loads the race when the visitor scrolls to it. The race itself runs its physics on its own thread.
Can players join a room from an embed?
Rooms are made for the full screen: open randomduckrace.com on the projector or big screen to host one, and players join at randomduckrace.com/join.
